Greetings and Salutations! I must say I have enjoyed this
site immensely. I have been looking for sites related to
The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings with links to fairies and
fokelores and I must say that this is the best one I've run
into yet. Thanks for sharing it with me! -Butterfly

Like many others I discovered your wonderful site purely by happy accident...being of cornish stock I am always looking for reference to my maiden name. What I ended up with was a smorgasbord of wonderful goodies for someone fascinated by piskies, fairies, superstitions and the like...I'll visit your site on the next full moon and see what else turns up as I navigate around your amazing site. You're bookmarked so I'LL BE BACK.

After entering my last name on a web browser, I inadvertantly came upon your site. What a wonderful Christmas surprise! Thank you for minding such a special part of history. I'll be revisiting, cup of tea in hand, throughout the winter. And, since it's Christmas, here's a small gift for you -- a folk-saying from the Calumet copper mines in Michigan's Upper Peninsula: "By Tre, Pol, Cor and Pen, you can tell the man is a Cornishman."

My maternal grandfather was Thomas Trevithick. His father
came from Cornwall and worked in tin mines in the US. First
in Ducktown TN, later in Upper Michigan, eventually settling
on a farm near Dell Rapids SD. I am just beginning to explore
my Cornish roots.

I have three loves pre-20th century history and good writing as well as good role-play.

Currently I am trying to hone my hone my knowledge of Tolien's Middle Earth so that I may and contribute to the new rpg site that will be going up in 99. Too, it would be fun to just have the knowledge. If anyone can send me some palce to go, or simple info, let me know.
Thanks,
Will

It is amazing that different people like the same authors, music, and artwork as me. The problem with people like us is that we are so spread out that we rarely meet. There is only one person that I know of in Abilene that has such intrests. She has a few different qualities though. I suppose each person has to be unique in some way. I don't know. Do many Tolkien readers listen to the Counting Crows?
Maybe that is how I am different from everyone. Do you know
anyone who can write Anglo-saxon Futhork? I know generally.
It helps with the translation of some runes in Tolkien's books.

I found this site a few months ago and frequently visit to listen to the midis and to read the collection of tales that you have. I have found this to be one of the best sites I have ever visited. My wife and I are members of the Society for Creative Anachornism SCA and this is a fantastic site. Keep up the great work. Sam...

I have been writing for many years from Rivendell (my home),
and since I have been a Tolkien apostle
since I was all of 9 years old, I had to check you out and
see what was going on. Needless to say, I am impressed!
If there is ever any debate about Tolkien's works, I seem
to have most of his histories (if not all), and I would be
glad to answer any questions....

What an AWESOME site! I am glad I found you. Although I cannot use most of the links without viewing the source code and getting them from there! I probably just have a lame version of IE.

Anyway, if you have some tips on how to better navigate through your site, that would be great! Please stop by and visit my site sometime. Be sure to sign the guestbook to let me know that you were visiting (and to give me a link back to your site for later!)

Blessed be!

Meowwwwwww ;)

Ps
I love JRRT, read all the books several times and have them on CD too!
Again, great job!
