I was looking up Welsh myths, and I totally forgot there were a Cornish people. Where is that located at, where would I see it on the map today? Fascinating, I am learning new things, I didn't know the Cornish and the Welsh were Britons and the English were Saxons, I have been trying to figure out for the longest who were the Saxon, now I know thank you.

My fatner was a Cornishman born in Par,I am named after my paternal grandfather George Henry Job the IX.
I have still gotten many relations down in Restormel and up in Bodmin too.
I researched my name and found it away back in the 11th century.
As far as I know I,m the last George H Job.I still wonder if there are any more of my close relations down in Cornwall?

Hello. This is quite a nice site. I will certainly come back later. But would it be at all possible for you to e-mail a little something about the mythical Gandolf to me? I know Gandolf comes from Scandinavian myth. Robert Browning mentioned him a lot in his poem 'The Bishop Orders His Tomb at Saint Praxed's Church'. I would just like to know who he is. Whatever you can give me will be much appreciated.
Jesus would have been called ben Joseph, as Joseph was His assumed father. Joseph and Mary were engaged when he was conceived(?). Understand that not every Jew in Palestine actually believed in miracles (the Temple priests certainly didn't!)

Peace and Love,

What a wonderful site. I am constantly searching Cornish site for info to add to my project. I live the town in Tasmania renowned as the Birthplace of Tasmanian Mining and I am building a database of names of families who have lived here since 1871. The majority of the earliest miners were from Cornwall and so should you have ancestors who left Cornish Shores who may well find them on this site. If you need more assistance ,feel free to make contact by email.
