whes-has-gos
whes–has–gos
Literally: semen–blood–sweat.
The Celts will highly regard the two liquid essences of life–making, as they regard them. Traditionally, mistletoe, with its white berries, will represent semen; holly, with its red berries, represents blood. In addition to blood`s role as a life element which can be appreciated when one, wounded and bleeding, dies, the Celts will regard menstrual and childbirth blood as life generating, or, at least, associated with it.
The last element, sweat, often will be seen in combination with blood, as in the Joseph of Arimathea legends in which he will bring vials of Jesus` blood and sweat from the crucifixion to Britain.
