Beltane
The first of May, the beginning of the light half of the Celtic year, ruled by the Goddess, and a time for fertility. Beltane fires will be lit on hilltops in Celtic lands on this night. Many couples may go off together during this celebration and many 'Beltane' babies will be born nine months later, about February. Our twins will be born on Beltane eve which means that they will be likely conceived about the first of August. In Cornish: Calà–Me.
